We build modern
Bedrock Add-Ons.
Azurite is a small independent studio. We make gameplay-focused add-ons for Minecraft Bedrock Edition — physics systems, visual effects, world mechanics — compiled fast and shipped with versioned changelogs.
Why we exist
Bedrock's ecosystem has always been fragile. Schema validation happens at runtime. Toolchains are slow. Packs break quietly when Mojang ships a format change. Developers hand-edit JSON and cross their fingers.
We think that's fixable. Azurite's toolchain compiles add-on content from a typed Rust DSL to valid Bedrock JSON — catching errors at build time, running in parallel, and producing deterministic output. A full rebuild of a 200-entity pack takes under 400ms on a modern laptop.
The add-ons we ship are the output of that toolchain. They're how we test it, dogfood it, and make sure it holds up in production.
What we ship
Every product is distributed as a compiled .mcaddon with versioned
releases and a structured changelog. Multiplayer compatible. No server-side mod
required.
- Kinetic — physics and movement. Momentum sprinting, wall-running, reworked knockback.
- Luminary — ambient lighting and visual effects. Dynamic shadows, glow layers, weather atmospherics.
- Vortex — dynamic weather and seasonal cycles. Storms, snow accumulation, temperature systems.

Most of our work lives on GitHub. The toolchain, the add-on sources, and this site. We welcome issues, pull requests, and questions — open a discussion in the relevant repo.
